Colorbond Kliplok Roof Replacement in Mount Pritchard

This one was a confronting arrival. The ceiling had partially collapsed — a direct result of years of undetected water entry. A preliminary inspection identified two culprits: an under-pitched roof section that was never going to shed water properly, and a missing transition flashing at the junction between two roof planes. What should have been a weathertight seal had been letting water in for years.

The complicating factor was the balcony. The roof ran directly beneath and alongside a full balcony structure. A conventional replacement would have meant taking the balcony down first — adding tens of thousands to the job. Instead, we engineered a solution using ceiling joists to carry the new roof independently, completing the replacement without removing or disturbing the balcony at all.

We replaced the roof with Colorbond Kliplok — a concealed-fixing standing seam system that performs exceptionally on low-pitch applications. Custom transition flashings were fabricated to seal cleanly at all tile-to-metal junctions. The whole job was done in a single day.
